It seems like i’m the only one who is excited about the carbine returning to Halo 4. Personally i think it was a great gun in Halo 3 but mostly everyone is generating hype for the BR instead.
I like the Carbine, but I don’t like it as much as I did the Needle Rifle.
You are probably just late to the party because the joy was expressed many moons ago.
The Carbine is loved by many, but the NR is a more lore-inline weapon than the Carbine, to me at least. I’m still going to use it and love it, just not like the NR.
I didnt really like the needle rifle, but then again I don’t really like the needle either

It’s great that it’s coming back. I was never a fan of the Needle Rifle.
I’m quite happy to see it’s return, though I don’t know how often i’ll use it

Carbine’s great, but I still am gonna be using the Battle Rifle for the first few matches of War Games. I can’t help myself.
The NR in Halo Reach was a joke, especially with zero bloom made it worse than a magnum, so Carbine welcome back!
I fell in love when I first saw it in those leaked screenshots.

In halo 3 the Carbine was a 8 head shot kill. In Halo 4 it’s 7 and it has more accuracy. I’m pretty skeptical.
I adored the Carbine. It could actually kill faster (very marginal difference, but still) than the BR when all shots hit.
I like fast RoF, no bloom precision. The Carbine was the embodiment of that. And, it’s shiny and purple with a neato ammo counter.
What’s not to like?
I always liked the carbine. The NR was basically just a “carbine 0.5” for me, and I really wasn’t a fan of the extremely slow Fire Rate.
im excited about the carbine comming back because halo 2 and halo 3 were my best times with that lovely weapon.
Halo 2 + carbine + Gravemind (Level) = happiness
I’m very happy to see it return.
On NR vs Carbine I gotta say NR is better. It’s long range and the 3 body shot explosion really helps since it also harms enemies nearby. On Legendary NR is by far the most valuable weapon since it has a large clip, carries a lot of ammo an you only need to plant either a head shot or 3 body shots to take down most of your enemies. Carbine is good though but if I had a choice between the two I’d be making pink mist out of all my enemies

I’m agreed with you loved it halo 3 can’t wate to use it halo 4.
Carbine=BR
NR=DMR
why not have both since they can fill different roles like the Br and DMR do and not everyone is excited about the BR I prefer the DMR and the carbine
