Yes! This is awesome, I can actually start using it as a serious weapon! I loved using it before but the 8sk was a little too slow so thanks 343! They kinda have been listening since I’ve seen quite a few threads saying how it should be buffed, yea cant wait to use it again, and a 4sk BR? Yes, and a buffed LR? No, but maybe eventually they’ll just reduce the range a tad, instead of making it farther, shorten it up by a few meters, or more. Just glad the carbine is now 7sk.
enjoy using your buffed up carbine, against a load of current DMR’s and buffed out Battle Rifles, it sounds good now but honestly when it hits i doubt it will be as good as it sounds, this will create more issues than it solves

keep in mind that they stated that the changes are not final
but i’m happy that the carbine’s getting a small buff
i personally don’t use it, i just don’t like trigger-spamming to that degree
but i can’t find enough people using it against me

Part of the proposed changes is that Autos would receive a small damage buff while at the same time getting a reduction in auto-aim. You can see the test settings here.
I’m very glad; the Carbine is my favourite weapon. Maybe I’ll give Halo 4 another shot once the improvement is implemented.
You do realize that this is feature creep that will bring Halo into the shot and drop FPS genre? Do you really want to play CoD?
I wish they would remove the auto aim I don’t know how many times it’s messed up my shot cause an enemy walked past my view.

You have no idea what you’re talking about. There’s still not a single precision weapon in Halo 4 (even with these new buffs) that kills faster than the H2 BR. If this is now a shot and drop FPS, then so is Halo 2.

The only issue I have with the Carbine is its inconsistent bloom that makes the gun super inconsistent. If we were given the Halo 2 Carbine, I’d be more than happy.
