I was pretty legit with it in halo 4 it was my loadout gun of choice but I just can’t seem
to get the hang of it in this game. I feel
like the magnum or assault rifle honestly own it on maps it’s actually on. BUT I could just suck with it now. I mean would you drop a magnum for it?? Lol
Haven’t used it much outside of the campaign, it seems like a fairly serviceable gun from what I’ve seen and played of it.
Carbine is like the only weapon in this whole game that works the way its supposed to. I absolutely love it and got the certification for it today so im finally pumped to receive it in the commons.
In most cases the pistol does but when you are up close and they are your reticle, this is probably the best preforming carbine of the series.
The carbine has to land every shot, and perfect shot people in order to beat the BR and Pistol. If you can do that EVERYTIME then the carbine is great. If not I would go with the BR haha.

I really like the carbine. The zoom isn’t as helpful as it was in the past, but I drop my magnum for a carbine every chance I get.
carbine is amazing if you land the shots. Much better than the magum damage per shot but obviously the accuracy is not as good
The detriment to the carbine is that it takes more shots to kill someone so you have to land more shots than the pistol. They both have the same TTK, but the carbine has a longer range and takes more shots to kill and the pistol has less range and less shots to kill.
Carbine is the best precision gun in the game.

That hurts the pistol more than the carbine because if you miss one shot with the pistol, you lose a big chunk of your TTK but if you miss one or even two shots with the carbine, you lose almost nothing.
Still my favorite gun. Wish it didn’t cost 4 req points in Warzone.
