Does the Carbine kill faster than the BR or LR(unscoped) when all rounds hit?
the way i see it;
Carbine has higher ROF, less ammo used, unsure on damage done per round
BR is slower, more ammo is used
LR is basicly like the BR and DMR but weaker (i got to use it at PAX, i didnt get to use the others)
someone please clear this up for me =)
Carbine is 8sk, but extremely fast and accurate, I think.

According to 343i it’s mathematically the fastest killing weapon in the game out of your loadout options.

Carbine is the true medium range primary of Halo 4. The extreme accuracy is too precise for close range and the high ROF makes it difficult for long range, but the spamminess of it make it better then the BR at least IMO. It’s also a remarkably underused and underestimated gun. I hope it feels like the Halo 2 version, which felt like its most powerful iteration although it was still a contender in Halo 3.
i think it needs to be beefed a bit, it wasnt oh so powerful in the previous games
If you were extremely skilled in Halo 3, the Carbine was capable of being more deadly then the BR. In Halo 4 it is more powerful then in Halo 3, so I suspect it will be much more closely matched for the average player, and perhaps it will completely destroy the others in skilled hands.
Either way I’m psyched, I love the Carbine! It looks a lot meatier in Halo 4 too!
