I’m curious as to why I don’t see too many Carbine users in many games. Granted there are those that feel like already having a Magnum, along with scattered BR’s on the field; a Carbine doesn’t seem appealing especially since it doesn’t have the 4 shot kill capabillities of the community’s for some reason, loved BR. I just wish we could get more variety of single shot weapons on maps.
You said it in you post. It’s underpowered. Why would I use a weak feeling 7 shot weapon when someone can use the BR/DMR/Magnum/AR/SMG that ALL beat the Carbine in TTK. I like the carbine, but it’s underpowered in this game.
As mentioned it seems underpowered, I use it rarely, it’s not a favourite.
The Carbine seems to be one of the only weapons 343 didnt buff or nerf to hell. Its still an 8 shot kill, which seems like a lot but considering it has the fastest fire rate its pretty powerful. They need to make it a level 3 REQ though to be useful in Warzone. I love it on Truth.

I like it in campaign that’s it.
If you utilise the fire rate capibliities correctly the weapon is a monster, especially at long to mid range.
Carbine is used every game in Team Arena
I absolutely love the carbine. I feel like, with its rapid ROF, it can easily frustrate an opponent or cause them to panic and miss shots. I grab it whenever I can. 
Actually had a game where I think I scored 25+ kills with it (Deadlock). Weapon is a beast when used correctly and against an opponent lacking nerves of steel haha.
I love it. It has a faster ttk then the br if you’re accurate. It melts!
Literally just used it in a game, shot a guy about 6 times and he didn’t lose his shields, it’s too spongeable.
Nah man the carbine is really powerful. It’s kill times are actually faster than the BR if you land your shots rights. That extreme rate of fire make it impossible for someone to scope in and kill you med to long range. There are plenty of occasions ive out shot snipers or even perfect killed them because they literally cannot aim. Great gun
on truth and Regret everyone uses it. I has a fast fire rate… never felt it was under powered.
I love it . With the fire rate it’s very efficient to disturb and kill
People avoid using it because it was inferior to the Battle Rifle in previous games. It’s an excellent weapon now, just as good if not better than the BR, but people prefer to stick with what they know and like.
Well on the maps Regret and The Rig, it is sometimes the only solution for upgrading from a Magnum, since the DMRs gets taken right off the bat on Regret, and there is only one BR on The Rig. As far as precision weapons go the Carbine feels a bit better at very close range than the BR because missing a shot is more forgiving.

Carbine is the fastest killing rifle besides the Light Rifle when scoped.
Just has a -Yoink- reputation from past games…
You don’t see it in Warzone much because of two reasons:
- It has a very similar level of effectiveness as a Battle Rifle
- It costs way more Req levels than a Battle Rifle…E.g. the BR costs absolutely nothing to spawn with
I would like to see the Warzone Carbine reduced to Req level 2. Considering that its close competitor, the BR, is available permanently at level 3 with no cost whatsoever, I think this is fair. If anything the BR is still favored with this change. Ideally, the Carbine could be made into its own loadout weapon available at level 5 or something, but I doubt this would happen.
I think the Carbine’s actual raw stats of damage/firing rate/etc. are fine where they are, it just has too high of an opportunity cost to make it worth it in WZ.
