To the people who have played Halo 4 already, how does the carbine and light rifle compare to the BR and DMR? I have seen gameplay of all weapons, and they all look good, but I want to know which one is the best. From the gameplay, it looks like the LR and DMR beat the carbine and BR.
Depends what you want out of your weapon, IMO. If I knew I was going to be doing mid-close range, I’d stick with the LR or BR but if I knew I was going to be running around shooting long, I picked the DMR or Carbine.
Personal preference probably.

From the 10 minutes i played, the LightRife (didn’t get to use carbine) feels fairly similar to the DMR but alot heavier, it’s a cross between the sniper and DMR in my opinion.
