it is anoying when some body just runs up to your base and steals your vehicles especially when its a banshee or a tank and especially when its in an invasion game.
so i thought of an idea where each team gets to use only their own vehicles and not be able to run up and steal the enamys but i thought that would be stupid so i had a better idea.
you can only use the enemys vehicle if you jack it and then it becomes your teams vehicle, its like crooks in real life some one starts a car and then the crook steels it and then its his/hers(then the police catches them)
this seems like a good idea because usualy when i play the invasion on the spire i usualy find spartans eye balling the banshee spawn point and they wait with EMP weapons
also they have a falcon waiting at the very begining of the spartans spawn point, if the spartans get the banshee its a pain in the -Yoink- they dont bloody give up, when they jack the banshee i usualy say fiar enough or i say who ever that driver was is a dumb -Yoink-.
its just anoying when an enemy is jut sat there watching a vehicle spawn point and then they rush to the vehicle and steal it, but imagin if they try to steal it without the car keys ( maby hotwiring could be a good idea for an armor ability).
i apoligise for my spelling
After reading comments:
The idea was to make a barrier on vehicles so the enemy can stop constantly camping for them.

Um…what?
Yeah, I don’t see this as being a good idea. Map control is a big part of Halo. If a team can’t hold onto their vehicles, it’s pretty much their fault.
Here’s a big tip. Military vehicles most of the time don’t use Keys, the LMTVs and Humvee’s all don’t have keys to start them, in fact, they’re locked up by a chain and a lock.
I like the way Unreal Tournament does it. You can only use the enemy vehicle once an enemy exits it. So in Halo’s case you could either hijack or use if the enemy is dumb enough to leave their vehicle just chill somewhere. I don’t think that Halo will ever use this idea though.
I’d much rather see a lock timer. Once a vehicle comes up for the enemy team it gets a 10 second lock where the enemy team can’t touch it. After that 10 seconds it’s fair game. In most slayer cases that still wouldn’t work though because you switch spawns too often. So it’s probably better to just keep it as it is.

No, chip scanners, finger print scanners.
There are Fingerprint scanners for cars, they’re like $200.
Again, we’re talking about Military vehicles, not civi vehicles, so the vehicles will not be locked…

and if u have lazer eyes?? scanning will be a -Yoink-
