I don’t know if this has been mentioned in the forums already, but last night we were playing Warzone and Captain Wamik disappeared and neither team was awarded points for it.
I was one of the people shooting the boss and had my suspicions of what had happened but I looked back on theatre to confirm it was the case.
What happened was that my teammate hit Captain Wamik with several charged plasma pistol shots until he fell to the bottom of the map. In the past this counted as destroying the boss and your team were awarded points. However, Wamik disappeared and the game carried on with neither team earning 150 points. When our team got to 850 points, Palmer got a little confused and said “We win if we eliminate Captain Wamik” and then immediately followed this with “Destroy Warden Eternal to win this” (who has now spawned). This suggests to me that Captain Wamik was still alive somewhere underneath the map but no longer visible to us.
I was just wondering if anyone else had experienced this. Is this a glitch or is this part of a recent update that I was unaware of?

Haha! Well I once knocked the elite boss off the ledge on storm break and I vaguely remember telling my team mate nobody got the points!

Hey OP, I was in that game with you! That does happen from time to time and can be quite frustrating. That happens with any of the bosses on Stormbreak that can be knocked into the abyss. It definitely made for a good game last night, however! I was on the losing side, but the gameplay was very good from both sides.
To get the points for killing Captain Wamik with a Plasma Pistol, you need to have done damage to him. If no damage was done, he’ll just fall into nothingness and nobody gets the points. I’ve learned this through a few unfortunate experiences.

^^^^^It has always be like this and even then… sometimes you can damage him but since he doesn’t get “destroyed”, nobody get awarded the points.
Can also happen with the Banshee boss on Arc too.

Haha what a coincidence!
Yeah it was a good game, Captain Wamik disappearing made it really interesting. We were in a party of 9 and it was the closest game we had all night (we won all 9 games we play).
Thanks everyone for letting me know about that. It’s annoying because I fired my rocket launcher at him but he disappeared before it hit!
I’ll make sure I shoot a few bursts of BR into him next time someone EMPs his banshee!
This happened to me once, and it also happened with the Knight who spawns where the Wraith spawns, the Knight fell off the map and my whole team was shooting at the Knight XD took forever, but we got him
Happened to me too. Some maps you can go under with the camera in theater mode, if you still have it in your recents.
He is probably still falling at the moment lol. 
I think its a glitch with the plasma pistol. while he is falling to the bottom try getting a few BR bursts into him

On a serious note, he probably just called it a day and got the -Yoink- out of there.
