"Captain wake up, something has happened."

The biggest cliffhanger in a Halo game since Halo 2’s “Finishing this fight”. So I have a question that has probably been asked several times.

What do you think it means?

Maybe years later, they find out what happened to Reach?
Maybe they find out the war is over somewhere along the line?
Maybe, just maybe they found out the Flood home world?

Who knows what do you guys think?

Precursors. I’m calling it now.

Whatever it is is not precursors.

well the AI sounded okay so it’s at least within 7 years of Halo Wars

The Ship was under repair. so Not all systems would be preforming normaly

Nothing wrong with the engine

Maybe found a Halo or a Line Instalation

Not necessarily, the A.I. in question could have gone rampant but making sure the crew was safe could have been what kept her sane. I.E. she may well have achieved metastability.

I wonder, cortana was a better AI than Serina. or at least more modern and Cortana coudn’t do it

But still the Possibility remains

also. Could the SoF find the Greater Ark ?

Excuse me, but what game is this line from? Halo Wars? Has there been a new announcement/teaser? (I have been away for the weekend)

Is the legendary ending to Halo Wars

Thank you, I wasn’t aware of it. Only finished it once on normal.

Me on easy

I’m not that good at Halo Wars. I bought it mainly for the Halo story

343i has said they’re not revisiting that story, but if they did, which would be awesome, that cliffhanger line would allow its’ incorporation into the story be fairly easy.

No they said they arnt doing anything with it right now. Its possible they might.

And hopefully on the next Xbox!

When did they say they are not revisiting it ever? I really hope they do. Halo Wars was a great game.

Well they said they would love to but have no current plans for it

You would think with the advance systems of the UNSC Infinity and even at the end of Halo Reach their would be some mention I know in Halsey’s Journal it says the Spirit of Fire is lost. Which is unfortunate because I would love to see an aged Cutter or aged Spartan II’s meeting the Chief.

However the Highest Possibility is that they have found the Greater Ark. The Lesser Ark was very far away from the Galaxy. The Shield World they found was way out of bounds in any system.

I don’t see how they randomly have a high chance of randomly being at the greater ark, even more so since we don’t even know where that is.

If anything , it may have been Serina receiving a long range signal , saying Earth was under attack, or that the war had ended. The UNSC would have sent wide band , long range transmissions to any ships not in Earths’ sector notifying them of either of these events , and could eventually be picked up by SoF.

I think if it was a signal saying the war ended Serina wouldn’t have sounded so serious saying something has happened.

Without a slipspace drive, its highly unliely Spirit of Fire even reached another system by the time of halo 4.

For it to find anything that wasn’t too far from that shield world, it’d be a plothole.

Unless UNSC ships have FTL capabilities without using slipspace.
