So I was looking at the Spartan Ops trailer and realized that Lasky was standing in the spot that Del Rio was in all of the campaign footage we’ve seen.
Considering:
-It was mentioned in Thursday War how he’s more of a manager and not a leader.
-He argues with John; calls him ‘an aging Spartan’.
-The obvious parallels with Halo: CE
Is it just me, or does anyone else think that Del Rio won’t last past the campaign of Halo 4?
I think you’ve got him all wrong. That scene was obviously a ploy to get you to automatically view him negativity. I bet he ends up SAVING John. He will end up as the guy you wanted to hate but couldn’t. He might even be right about whatever it was he and the chief were arguing about.
EX: MC wants to i dunno, free the Forerunners from imprisonment…and the captain wants to get the hell off the planet to ensure the safety of his crew. Obviously, something BIG is going to go down, and my guns pointed towards the aliens, sir. I’m not with the cap, and im sure as hell not against the chief…I just want to save the world!

You misunderstand: I don’t have a negative opinion of him at all. In fact, anyone Parangosky doesn’t like gives them some credence in my eyes. But I see the way the wind is blowing so to speak and, and think that he’ll kick the bucket in the campaign.

Sorry to misunderstand, and sorry I have no clue who this “Parangosky” is…
I can’t see Del Rio NOT being in Halo 5 or so on…We lost Captain Keyes already. Kinda repetitive. “With all due respect, sir, this war has enough dead heroes.”
I wonder that if Del Rio doesn’t make it, will Parangosky have something to do with it.
It’s known that she only accepted Del Rio only because her man Lasky got the job as executive officer. If Del Rio kicks the bucket, Lasky get the captains’ chair.
The events of Halo 4 might be an opportune time to pull of an assassination without suspicion.

2 things
He might not die, he might just not be in the next game for another reason (related to him being a -Yoink-)
