So for those of you who have not read the books (specifically the fall of reach), a little back story for you. All spartans received physical augmentations that boosted their abilities in almost all categories (speed/ reaction time, strength, bone density, eyesight ect) to the point where they actually became the super soldiers we know from the games as spartans.
numerous times in the books it has been described how very INSANELY fast and deadly spartan II’s are, even without their armor, but never has it been shown in the games. even when 343 had the chance with spartan ops cinematics.
my vote…it would seem that the UNSC is trying to hunt down the chief for whatever reason…so i beg of you 343i…have a scene where the chief is confronted by a bunch of spartan IV’s that are potentially hostile… and have the chief show them what class Nō. 1 of spartan school can do.
IE i want a cinematic where the chief puts 6+ obviously inferior S IV’s -Yoinks!- back into a field hospital in a grand total of about 3.1 seconds…because we all need to see well spartans can fight in hand to hand combat.
Spartan IV’s aren’t grossly inferior to Spartan IIs. It’s not like Nappa tanking hits from Krillin. Spartan IV’s are more like 80-90% as good as Spartan IIs.
Actually, I’d like to see the Spartans at their true visual potential as well. Not necessarily against S-IV’s, but I too have read the novels and it feels slowed down when I play the games. Or even do a comparison with the remaining S-II and S-III’s to the S-IV’s and see where they all stand

I was just giving a little bit of original spartan pride there-
Granted that they have nearly the same physical ability, with a few mild deviations due to different augmentations from S II’s and III’s… but the S II’s & III’s would be far more efficient and deadly VS a Spartan IV just because of their upbringing.
keep in mind that the biggest difference between IV’s and II’s/III’s is that IV’s are regular service men that started at the earliest at 18 years old.
Think of a navy SEAL-- been in the service for around 5-10 years, put him at around 30 years old, good at martial arts and pretty fit for a person in his position. But pit him against some 30 year old monk who has been doing nothing but zen and meditating since he could stand whilst mastering tae kwon do? SEAL is going to be very hurt.

Even so, a bunch navy seals vs 1 monk is going to go in the seal’s favor by far.

I don’t like how the spartan VI’s act in spops cinematics…lets have them fighting like in RvB lol! I know that would be too much, but just imagine…
EDIT: That Monster cutscene in hw (which was also made by blur) would be a nice guideline for H5G
I just want to see a Spartan effectively use “spartan time” at least once in a cinematic. The closest we’ve come to seeing that so far was that Babysitter episode from Halo Legends.
