So the next req drop is going to give us even more weapons to dig through. I was thinking instead of having all these preset weapons to have to scroll through why not give us a sort of make shift armory where we can outfit our weapons with whatever attachments we want. Then we won’t have to sift through so many different weapons in our loadouts. Maybe give us two or three custom weapon slots to save our favorite weapon so we can select them faster? Would that be to much to ask.
Because the game doesn’t have such systems in place. Because it’s card based. That’s why.
For or halo 6, yes I can see such system being put in place but for this, but not simply in halo 5. They’d have to implement such systems.

Make some weapon attachment cards or something then. Hopefully they do something like that for H6

I agree, this feature makes more sense to be implemented in Halo 6.

Baby steps.
If they had instituted Warzone with a full-on weapon creation Armory for REQs too, people might have lost their -Yoink- minds and not in a good way.
Assault Rifle with Shotgun Barrel from the Books? Or Plasma Pistol that shoots Fuel Rod Rounds? Sign me up please.
It would be rad, but you know how 343 is…
At the very least, it’d be nice if variants of the same loadout weapon could share ammo.
No, this isn’t COD. This is Halo. There shouldn’t even be more than 2 variants of each weapon.

We are way past two variants. It would just make more sense to be able to build our own instead of having to shuffle through so many.

What I’m saying is that there doesn’t need to be so many. It just adds more variables to the game that make it less balanced. And giving full weapon customization would only increase the variables therefore decreasing the balance. Older Halos work perfectly without millions of different variations of the same weapons and vehicles.
depends, are you talking about strictly warzone? Then ya sure, maybe. Arena though, hell no.
it’s too late for Halo 5 and I’m hoping Halo 6 doesn’t have so many pointless weapon variants.
Seriously what’s the functional difference between AR, Recon AR, and Hybrid AR? Same Magnification.

doesnt matter if you like it or not, plenty of warzone players do which means your complaint is most likely going to be unheard.
guide this might break it down for you if you are of course actually curious. Im not much of a warzone fan myself but was curious so hey what the hell, the more you know right.
Figure out how to randomize and monetize it, first
What I think they should do in Halo 6 is have REQ Cards allow you to unlock attachments. This allows you to craft and customize weapons. The quantity and quality of the attachments you add to a weapon determines which stage you can unlock it. For example, you would only be able to access weapons with bayonets and advanced scopes at level 8. A loadout system allows you to craft multiple weapons, so that you can always spawn with a customized weapon should you choose to do so. It’s lore-friendly and it sounds a lot easier than just sifting through tonnes of cards before you spawn.
