Is it absolutely necessary to be so negative all the time? I for one Love ALL the Halo games. They are equally enjoyable. Although I own 4, I still go back to 3 and Reach and enjoy them a lot.
While we did lose some features like dual-wielding and flying UNSC vehicles, we gained a whole NEW type of weapon, as well as crazy new UNSC vehicle (the Mantis. absolutely insane).
Now, I respect the opinions of those who don’t like 4, but if you dislike it that much, get rid of the game and please stop complaining about it to the rest of the population who do like it.
So I’d like to send out a personal thanks to 343 Industries for reviving and revitalizing one of the best games I’ve ever played. You’ve done a fantastic job!
While I do agree with those who believe that Halo 4 could’ve been MUCH better, I still dislike the constant vile threads. I dunno, I just don’t think being overly mordant will bring about any progress.
This forum can be pretty funny sometimes. We get topics like these asking for positive topics, yet when positive topics pop up nobody replies to them, the same people who want them instead swarm negative threads.
While I will admit that there is some content missing from previous games, I still think that all the things that have been added to 4 compensate adequately for what hasn’t been included.
And no, I don’t go looking for the threads that talk about how much people think 4 sucks. Every thread I do check has someone expressing their negative feelings about 4. Is it too much to ask that people back off the hate? It really isn’t conducive to a forum if people are constantly bagging on the game that revitalized an amazing series.
And to be honest, I can’t think of what exactly is missing from 4. Albeit the customization is different, and I will admit that I miss invasion. I meant this thread to be about appreciating what is good about 4.

Then let them complain. Everyone complains, but no1 is asking for clone copy of Halo 3. We just wanted a reasonable halo inspired from more of the classics. A halo game that improved the features that worked so well. 343 can be different from Bungie, but they do not have to press the delete button like crazy in order to establish their own identity.

They can do what they want to with Halo because they are in charge, and MS are the owners of the IP.
The sooner that we understand that the better.
If they want to do a Halo-My Little Pony crossover, that is THEIR business.
If Halo’s popularity wanes then so be it. This is the way of the world.
Consumerism dictates that if you don’t voice your opinion about a product, your opinion doesn’t matter. Now in the end, it’s 343’s game and they can do what they want with it, that’s their right. I’m just telling them what I find difficult to enjoy about the product and where I think they can improve. And if they don’t improve those things, then I don’t buy what they’re selling. But you can’t just silently hope that those issues you have get fixed, you have to complain about it to someone. If you don’t, you’re just like those people who complain about the President not doing enough for them yet they never vote come election time.
