So I got my copy of MCC earlier, played a few hours but decided to take a break due to bugs and such. I wanted to watch Nightfall episode 1 as I redeemed my download code, however for some reason Halo Channel refuses to play it! (It did the same thing with H2A terminals) when I click play, it simply skips to another video, such as the Zenith break down or the H2A Documentary. I live in the UK but i’m not sure if it has anything to do with that. Does anyone know how to fix this? it’s getting on my nerves, as I was really looking forward to seeing Nightfall 
on halo channel for XB ONE or Windows ?
It is doing this to me too! every time i click play episode 1 it skips to a different video! this is on the xbox its so annoying any help please?
Haven’t tried the Nightfall videos just yet, but it won’t let me view the Terminals in-game either.
Activate a terminal, it goes to the Halo Channel screen and flickers a ton while it’s loading, before booting me back to Halo 2. Unfortunate really
Does the Halo Channel app work for you independently of the Terminals? Have you launched it and successfully watched a video other than terminal videos?
Am collecting all the info on these two issues that I can gather, so providing as much detail as you can recall would be a great help!
im having the same issue: so when i click to play nightfall it loads abit of the video (like 1 second) then starts a random video on the channel: tis very annoying
I have the same problem with almost every video. And it began after launch. I try watch a video and it instantly switches to H2 Documentary or breaking down zenith. This is on XB1 and i also have the same problem as the above with the terminals sending me back and forth from MCC to Halo Channel and back.
It also appears to happen for random people. My friend who played with me got to watch his terminals right away when pressing the terminal and nightfall works as well.
Now it just started taking me randomly to the Halofest Stream that is over instead…

Currently got the same issues! had them for about 8-10 hours!

I think its related to people who used the Nightfall redemption code because a friend of mine who had the standard edition can watch it but me and my other friend who got the Limited Edition with Nightfall cant view it
Anyone able to confirm my suspicions?

got a regular edition MCC but there is no play button in halo world when on the first episode of night fall. can add to queue. but that it is. go to episode 2 and has coming soon. if i play in halo it takes me to halo world.
When I try to watch Nightfall from the Halo channel it takes me into MCC to the extras screen with a window pop up that says “Video Player” below that "halo nightfall (with a press A). When I press A it takes me back to the Halo Channel where it says I have to buy MCC to watch Nightfall which I already have MCC.

Having exactly the same issue. “Purchase MCC to view this…” and I arrived there from a menu in MCC.
I’ve gone through and it looks like its just Nightfall and the terminals that are effected. The other vids seem to play fine.
i cant watch… HC keeps telling me to buy halo and i have halo in my disc tray!!!
check your 5 X 5 night fall card that is in your halo disk box. it has an IRQ code on the back that needs to be scanned (unlock code), then you can watch and all will be fixed.
We get so rushed and excited to play new games that we don’t look at everything in the box.
I entered my IRC code and it STILL says “Buy MCC” when trying to access Nightfall… But my damn disc is in the tray and I accessed Nightfall from a menu in game. Grrr.
Any info on this bug… after reading this post I am having the same issues:
1- When accessing a terminal from the game it launches the halo app, black screen with spinning circle appears then kicks me back to the menu screen of MCC.
2- Opening the app independently I try to watch any video and just starts playing the documentary movie… forgot the name, it just defaults to playing that.
Any word on fix on this yet?
ok so i scanned the code inside my game case and it installed the nightfall bundle and now i can watch nightfall
