got the same problem, keep telling me to buy halo, TMCC, but already own it
If you purchased the physical copy of MCC, there should be a code in the box that you need to redeem first and then it should work. If not there is a topic here that has some other troubleshooting steps and various other threads in the support forums that have been dealing with similar issues
As noted above, each physical copy of TMCC has an insert within the case that must be redeemed to access Nightfall. The insert is a small cardboard insert, with a 5x5 (25 character) code, and we strongly recommend redeeming it on the same account that is the primary, or account used for MCC.

I have the digital copy and I get the Buy Halo. I own an xbox with my brother and we have separate accounts. We downloaded the game under his account, I get the buy halo and he does not. is there a way for me to watch halo nightfall without having to reinstall the game or getting another one?
