Race will finally have a way to come back.

If you watched certain affinity’s youtube of Forgeball you noticed that you can set mongooses as each team’s ball.

So…

Have one mongoose for each team set as the ball for that team, Have one super thin goal at the Lap location, set goal amount to 1…

RACE!!!

Just looked it up, thanks for the tip. Looks awesome, though race is the least of my interests with this new development.

I understand, Race is not my favorite gametype but I know it has a pretty large following. I played Rocket Race a lot and am excited that will be able to come back now

Plus…what shall I call this? Forgeball Race? RicoRace? Well, it won’t automatically spawn you in vehicles, like the race we have now.

Yes, but the Race we have now is also not mentionable around here. So it’s best to keep it that way: not mentioned.

I figured that (even if I don’t entirely agree that it should be considered unmentionable, but I digress). Just pointing out that Ricochet is not our only option.

Sort of on topic, but anyone find it weird that Ricochet is sort of like Assault yet has H3/Reach’s Oddball Hot Potato timer as a custom game option? Too bad we can’t set carrying the ball to earn points, otherwise we could recreate Hot Potato, Hot Hog, etc.

I can’t wait for forgeball. Just like haloball but with even more options than in Reach!
