Hey, guys i was just wondering why xbox live gold subscription costs money. I mean yer MS makes money off people and that but still come on. The reason i am bringing this up is becasue H4 is coming out and i am not allowed to get xbox live gold until NEXT YEAR. I could just say goodbye to Halo 4 muiltiplayer as i would really like to be a part of the community who grab there copy and play it. Think of all those people online and so many memorise to make. Also is because i dont have enough money and my parents wont let me buy it. Come on what is an xbox if you dont have muiltiplayer and cant play with your friends. Could someone please give me a code for a month or something as i am desperate as i want to play halo 4 the first halo game i actually will have played from its relase date. I need this guys, i am sure that someone has a spare code around. If any of use are genrous enough send a message to this gamertag FightingSmile64 and i will be grateful for what you have done.

what u really need to do is play the halo games previous to halo 4 and get an insight on whats about to happen in halo 4 =]

At william i have all the halo games except for halo wars and palyed all of them. I know what the story is and wilz thanks for that but really the price. Come on guy i need support
I heard somewhere that you get a 14 day XBL Gold trial with Halo 4, could be different in other countries and other stores and I’m not sure who said it. But you always get at least a 48 hour trial.
Instead of begging for help get a part time job. Xbox live doesn’t cost that much you can definitely earn enough money to pay for one years worth of live.
i am in australia and you dont get a 14 day trial and i was looking but i my friend (nieghbour) is getting the copy first because we are sharing and he told me he was getting all the add on and that becasue he put more money into it. Damm it i never going to get anything
And assualt monkey i am looking in a part time job at the moment as i am eligible to get a job now but it may take some time to find one and by then halo 4 is out and i am screwed
You have a month until it’s release, why not save up a few £/$'s each week until then and you’ll have enough for a 3 month sub surely??!! It’s only £15 for 3 months, or if you make a new account you can get a month for £1 on the Live dashboard!! You can afford ONE pound, right???
Even if i did save up my parents arent going to let me buy it without hesitation and for creating numrous profiles i wont to use mine not start again on some profile

You pay for what you get. Take the PS3. Multiplayer is free on it, but it is lagger and more problematic than XBL. Also since MS is taking your money for a gold account, they work there butts off so you can have the best experience over XBL.

There are tons of single-player games on the Xbox 360. I feel sorry for your generation that had to grow up in the FPS era where it is all COD, BF, and Halo.
Just remember Hal 4 is Rated M, not sure what that means in Australia, but there’s probably a reason your parents are not letting you get XBL. Just sayin, people can be really messed up on there and say something you wouldn’t want your parents to associate with your gaming.

Its wierd as before they allowed me to get xobx live but all of the sudden they are not as they just dont want to physically go there and buy for me and i cant persaude them to do it or they get angry at me
Gaming is an expensive hobby. I’m sorry man but that’s how it is. Instead of begging mommy and daddy(or us), how about you try doing favors for people or something? It shouldn’t be hard to make 10$ within a month if you actually try. Otherwise, you’re probably too young and it’s just out of your grasp at the moment. Well apparently you get a 14 day code with it so you can enjoy spops and MP then (IE only them really to get the most out of them while you can) and then when your allowed gold you can rejoin it and play the rest of spops. Anyway sorry man I used to not have xbox live and it really sucked. Still loved Halo must of played each campaign 100 times :p.
Ohh ok didnt know and besides i think after this school term (starting next week) as i have exams midway my parents said if i have finshed all my exams to the best of my ability my paretns said that they would buy me xbox live 
despite it being a month after halo4. Any ideas what subscription i should get 1 month, 3?
Tell your parents that they are letting you buy a MA 15+ game, and that you dont understand why you can buy a game but are restricted to playing only part of it. Explain to them that for the full functionality you need xbox live, and that Halo 4 without xbox live is like a chocolate cake with bad icing, its still enjoyable, but your missing out!
