Been feeling in the dumps for a little bit now only getting on when events come so I dont miss out on armor and shaders Iv been hearing that there is some progress on cross core and might be coming soon dont know yet but Im really excited.
Just want to wear my favorite shader on my favorite armor Sizzling coral on my mark V [B] along with the Volant helmet still kinda working out what I want on the rest of my spartan like im thinking of using the courier pearl head attachment goes with the shader and I dont know when itll come around again but ill need to snag me the Will-O-Wisp visor looks so good with the shader hope it comes around soon.
Was wondering what your guyâs thoughts are and what armor combinations are you wanting to mix together cant wait to see more unique spartans in game ill definitely be playing alot more with just this.

I kind of want to blend the Rakshasa core with the Mark V[b] ODST chest, shoulders, and visor and the Mark VII Firefall helmet.
I feel like thatâll be the closest we will get to a modern canon ODST depiction until they expand on Firefall and ODSTs in a future season.

That would look kick -Yoink!- Iv seen so marine looking armor pieces that were leaked to need a good green for it though.
And this odst helmet is definitely the best one 343 has made so far feels slightly bulky just by a little but itâll still look awesome with a good black shader and visor.
Itâs one of the few shop items Iâve bought. Admittedly it was overpriced though.
But Iâm a sucker for anything related to either ODSTs or Sangheili.

Wish we could dye the odst plate like the original maybe they need to make a second shader slot for armor attachments
That would be nice. I also hope shaders donât just go crossncore, but go cross everything. (Eventually)
Unlock one coating, use it on your armor, your gun, your vehicle, your emblem. Use it on whatever.

1000% agreement with you there would be alot nicer would like my assualt rifle and vehiclesto match my armor shader if possible
Once crosscore is fully implemented, its going to be pretty sick, and I imagine it will be making sure everyone who wants to be unique in appearance is going to love it. When Forge comes out and people play duck hunt, if they have a yellow and Orange coating, Iâm using it for that express purpose xD

With how everything is going, the community really needs to rally together so all cores can be customized as we wish without the trivial limitations 343 seems to want to implement.
Weâre already doing it but 343 will just ignore the Cross core system, everything they are saying about implementing cross core is just plain lies, they DONâT WANT to do it because it simply hurts their sales in the store, making cross core available wonât take that much time.
Iâm just blown away by the fact that weâre in this situation at all. I still canât bring myself to believe that in a studio full of hundreds of people, many of whom are familiar with the IP, not a single one of them said âmaybe putting all of these armors on separated cores is a bad ideaâ
They can be so out of touch when it comes to player expectations, itâs just crazy. Like, did they ever think to post a poll or something and gather opinions? You know, gathering data that could be used to make informed design choices?

Counterpoint; I can totally believe weâre in this situation. Aggressive monetization, embarrassing and persistent technical problems, this is the culmination of years worth of trends.
The âdevelopersâ, the people who actually bang away at keyboards to create these games donât have a voice, all of these decisions come from the corporate scumbags (like Bonnie Ross) reading spreadsheets with predictions (based on crap numbers) on how much money they can get by nickel and diming us.
Cross core doesnât exist because they were LITTERALLY planning to make you buy something multiple times to apply it to different cores.
Iâm⌠not entirely sure where the necessity of your counterpoint comes from.
I wasnât arguing for or against anything, I was simply stating my disbelief- in a shocked context, which you didnât seem to get- at how problematically stupid the upper management is.

Iâd love to have my Mark V (B) running around. I really like how my Reach spartan looked and Iâd really love to have the Reach armor i have in that game in Infinite. The details are so much better in Infinite. Just wish 343 would unlock the rest of the Reach sets so I can have my old school spartan running around with the Legend himself. It would just add to my own little lore. Like âIâm the one who brought you Cortona and got you off Reach in the Pillar of Autumnâ. I think we should all have our own little immersion. Have our own made up back stories to how we got to Zeta Halo. Our MP spartans could be our own stories we could share here. Go D&D style for the campaign
