So, for the last 3 matches of Warzone I’ve played I haven’t been able to call in any REQs at all. Every time I attempt to either by accessing a REQ station or on the respawn screen, it just continuously says “Retrieving Data”, and doesn’t allow me to even see my cards. Checking on the main menu after my most resent match, I can’t even access the store to buy any packs.
Is this a common bug, or is it some sort of server issue? If this is a common bug, has anyone discovered a fix as of yet, either permanent or temporary? Thanks for any help anyone can provide.

I have the same problem. 343 needs to address this and fix this bug. It started a week ago so i gave it some time to be fixed so i got on today and its the same thing… I cant access any of my req packs, change my loadout or even my characters profile. This is so annyoing please fix this!

Im still getting it now, this needs to be addressed inwant to play the game so bad but this stupid microtransaction req system not working makes it unplayable
Ive been getting this since I got the game, about 3 weeks ago.
Really unfair to play warzone with only AR and pistol, trying to gather weapons dropped on the ground, while everyone else is beasting rockets, banshees and stuff.
Well to be honest I havent been able to find a Warzone match the past 24h…
So… I cant even play warzone now.

This has been going on for a month at least now and still has not been resolved! I did post on the forum before but had no response!
Whenever I try to access the Req System from the main menu in any way, for example by pressing ‘y’ to go straight to the req system I get the error ''REQ SERVICE UNAVAILABLE, An eroor occurred when contacting the requisition service, Please try again later’’ I can still play games but with ahuge disadvantage as it will not let me access the req system in game so pointless playing which means I spent money on a useless game and I have been playing halo since the very beginning and am hugely disappointed by this.
I should be going straight to see any req packs I have unlocked or can purchase etc but I j****ust constantly getting the above error message no matter how I access the req system
It is definitely an in game issue as I have contacted Microsoft multiple times and have tried anything and everything to get this resolved but they have now told me to contact the developer directly which is not easy to do at all. I also expect some form of compensation for the REQ packs I would have received if I was able to play the game!
I have been having this same issue!!! It’s driving me up the wall and it stops me from playing this games multiplayer! I need a fix NOW 343! Stop ruining halo for the players!!!
I found a way around this… Just keep restarting your console. After 2-5 trys it will come back on… Yea i know its retarted but thats the only way i can get mine to work if i want to play halo 5

This is happening to me now. I have tried restarting a number of times, but still nothing.
This just started with me a couple days ago. I’m hoping that with the February update rolling out soon it fix this bug or whatever it is.
Try signing out of your Xbox live account and sign back in give it a few mins about 1-3 minutes for halo to load. I had the issue where I couldn’t use my other weapon/vehicles just ar and magnum. Hope this helps you guys out for now.

Have you guys tried manually quitting the game via the Xbox home screen?
I was having this issue and tried to shutdown my xbox and the problem was still there. But after I manually quit the game and restarted it I could access my REQs again. You will know if its a true start if it takes you through the opening credits and intro. Hope this helps.
Same this is happening to me. Happens virtually every game unless I restart my console and even then it fixes the issue roughly 50% of the time. Very inconvenient.

I’ve done this method and it has never worked. I’ve hard restarted my console and it works for 1 or 2 games before breaking again. Seems like no one has found a fix for this and it’s on 343s hands at this point. I hope with the upcoming update it will be resolved as it’s been a month since they replied to this thread.
I’ve had this problem for the past week as well, and it’s really annoying I’m missing out on so much req and commendation progress and makes the game almost unplayable, they need a patch and soon and a gift to players for the inconvenience
You have no idea on how annoying it is to have this “Retriving Date” issue pop up in Warzone. Everytime I get on Warzone, this always comes up and I usually leave the game to try fixing it. I reset my whole system, and the next thing you know, they banned me. 343 Industries should really consider FIXING this “Retriving Date” Issue, as well as, keep you from getting band after leaving at least 1 or 2 games. They should have the 3 strike rule just like how they do it with Betraying someone .
