Can't use DMR / Sentinel sight on some maps

Why does the DMR / Sentinel sight have so much glare? I can’t use my sentinel BR on Raid on Apex because of how bright that map is.

March on Stormbreak has some really bad glare, even if you’re not scoped in.

I thought Spartan visors were supposed to mediate the glare in the lore.

Imagine how much glare we would have without the visor

Yea if you are inside the fortress looking to look out the bay doors you are blinded by a huge glare. Hard to target any would-be enemies from that angle.

I’m imagining a helmetless spartan on the ground with their hands on their eyes with smoke coming out of their eyes.

I’m pretty sure it is an intentional tradeoff for the extended range. The sentinel scope actually increases your red reticle range by a lot(basically the aim assist works at a longer distance when scoped) so a buff of that magnitude warrants some kind of checks and balances.
