can't unlock waypoint armors

just went on an achievement grind for a week to unlock some of the waypoint helmets. got every thing that is required ti get the helmet, but it won’t unlock. is this because we can’t access the old halo reach waypoint? is there still a way to unlock these armors?

edit: went through and read some other similar posts. at this point these armors should just be unlocked for everyone, especially since not everyone still has their 360

Opinions…I don’t see why anyone would get rid of a game system…even if they were upgrading. I still have my first Xbox 360 Elite I got way back in 2011 as well as my Xbox One and I play both of them pretty frequently.

You can get the armors on Xbox One to use with a backwards compatible version of Reach, but you still have to unlock them on the Halo Waypoint App on the Xbox 360 first in order to be able to get them on Xbox One.

and not every one has had a 360 to begin with. for some of my friends, MCC was their first Halo
