I’m trying to get enough Gamerscore on Halo 3 to unlock the Katana, but I can’t get the Marathon Man achievement to unlock. I’ve found every Terminal in order, on the same difficulty, done all the stuff necessary, but I can’t get the achievement. I know achievements haven’t been locked, because I got a few while doing the Marathon Man, but I can’t get that one to unlock.
Any tips?

I don’t think you need Marathon Man to unlock the Katana…I just got the MM achievement fairly recently and had the Katana long before…?
I need 49 achievements and 1000 gamerscore. I’m 55 points and 16 achievements away. I figured I’d get the easy ones for the Katana.
It has to be on Normal or higher? The Halo Wiki said I could do it on Easy… I’ll try normal, thanks.

Stupid question but you’re 100% sure you’re finding ALL the terminals, right? Not missing any?

Just to clarify, it isn’t any random 49 achievements on Halo 3, it has to be the original 49 which total to 1000 gamerscore, otherwise randomly the Katana will lock & unlock randomly until it all original 49 are done.

Yes. I’ve found all seven terminals, the hidden Cortana Terminal, in order, and have read the entirety of the terminal pages.

Well, that shouldn’t be a problem, then. I’m only missing the last 16 starter achievements, mainly the online only stuff.
it sounds like it might be a glitch, i cant remember but i dont think i even finished beating the levels when i found the terminals.
either that, or i hit them when i was playing the meta-game…
Do you read the entire terminal? I have yet to get it because all I did was just access it and leave to all and you need to actually read them all until the point it goes blank and forces you to leave. If you’ve done that then its either you are missing one which is unlikely, or it just doesn’t want to accept it.
