Cant unlock Helioskrill Armor. Glitch?

So today I finally completed all campaign missions on legendary for the Master Chief Collection. (I know I am late.)
But I checked Halo 5 to see if I unlocked the highly coveted armor, and I didn’t see it. Is this normal? Are there extra
steps in unlocking it? I’m pretty bummed about the whole situation.

It’s known to be bugged. They have added it to the Req system so anyone can land it, but that’s a plan B that is all luck and or grind.

This sucks, you might already have it (if you opened up a gold pack)

I had an issue similar trying to get the Nightfall armour. It just took a few hours for me to actually get the armour, I would wait an extra day just to be safe before you worry about bugs or glitches, sometimes they just need time to process the awesomeness that has befallen you in the form of the legendary achievement

Did you get the “Legend” Achievement OP? Cause technically speaking, its the achievement from MCC which grants you the armor. If you didn’t, just double check all your missions. If you did, then idk what to say, sorry mate. Good on you for getting through the grind though, Helioskrill is my favorite armor so I lost my -Yoink- when I unlocked it too!

Just checked your service record you not even played halo 5 or halo MCC on this account do you have another one that you completed on legendary?

I played the level Gravemind in H2 with my friend who has completed MCC on Leg and it unlocked for him. Try playing H2 with no skulls on Leg for a few minutes and see how that goes…

I wouldnt go by that completely. Mine says ive never played Halo 3 but i did. I also didnt play Halo 2 with this account but it says i have. That may be due to recently changing my gamertag though.

Just keep grinding req points and unlock it through gold packs
