Can't unlock HCS champion armor/skins?

I have finished unlocking all my armors and skins through Gold packs, but I am unable to obtain the HCS athlon champion armor set along with the HCS contender skins. Is this a bug or were these only available during that one-time HCS pack/promotion?

They were limited time packs during the qualifiers and the finals.

For anyone who revisits this topic in the future, these skins and armor are obtainable once again through the EG, CLG and Optic team packs. The team AR and Magnum skins are added to a small pool of HCS REQs that can be unlocked through those skin packs, including the Athlon champion set.

Except they were available with 80k req points then. I believe it’s cash only now. It’s the only armor I don’t have. Not spending real cash

Yes they need to be available for 80k req points again

This has been brought up hundreds of times; you won’t be able to buy it with reqs because they’re selling the teams’ trademarked logos. Part of the proceeds go to the teams and their players. You can’t pay players and their companies in imaginary req points.

This is the part were you say you’re not buying it and that’s stupid.

Now I say: I understand you’re not buying it, but its not stupid. I happily bought 2 packs. Just like I bought an Eagles sweatshirt and a Bulls hat to show support to teams I like. No one is making you buy it. But they aren’t selling it solely to let you finish your collection.

As much as I love trying to have every armor/helmet/etc in the game, I can’t justify myself spending $30+ on virtual items. I do understand why they cost actual money and not REQ points, it’s just not something I want to do. Not worth it to me to have weapon skins and armor that I will never use.
