I have two xbox 360’s that can’t system link to each other via built-in wifi. Both have the update 1.1 and both have the same map packs (Nobel, Defiance, and Anniversary) and each one shows the other on the top right of the screen, but they wont join together for campaign, firefight or anything else. I press Y to set for system link and still nothing happens.

Are they connected via a cross over cable directly or through a router using normal ethernet cables. If through a router you may have to open some ports or try setting manual IP addresses on both Xboxs and adding those IP addresses to the routers DMZ. Other than that ring XBL support or try a cross over cable
I’m trying to system link them via the buit in wifi that’s in the two xbox slims. Wireless System link works great on halo 3 and halo anniversary but I can’t get it to work with halo reach.
I figured it out. I used the digital pad by pressing on the right to click on the name of the player that I’m want to system link with that’s on the top right of the screen. That opens up a new menu that asks if I want to join their game.
