Can't start the game [Xbox One X/PC]

Yesterday we were playing some local co-op with my buddy for about an hour or so, and when I tried to play the game solo few hours later it just doesn’t let me into main menu. On Xbox it freezes for few seconds and closes, on PC it gives me UE4 Fatal Error message. I can play offline, but it’s a no-go for me. Tried to clear cache, restarting my console/PC, reinstalling games and other generic troubleshooting stuff, nothing works for me - I can’t get to main menu while being online. What’s happening?

I opened a support ticket with no response so far.

Hope this will be fixed soon. If it’s major outage then shouldn’t it be adressed by 343 in some kind of message to the community?

It absolutely should be addressed by 343i but they havent, yet.

Many of us have sent them ticket on support.halowaypoint.com but no response yet. I recommend that you do the same to put som pressure on them.

But to be honest, I really believe they won’t give a -Yoink- and we have no other choice than play on a different XBL account.

I’ve sent my ticket right before posting it.

I refuse to acknowledge that I’ll be locked out of the game on my account. It has to be fixed, it’s not some minor inconvenience, it’s selling product that doesn’t work and in most countries there are legal terms for describing such practices.
