Is there a fix to this problem? If you play with 3 or 4 people on the same TV for halo reach, you can’t see anything from all the text that scrolls across in the middle of the screen!
IE: Noobslayer123 Killed Johnny123 with a Headshot.
And I would say Headshot covers my entire reticule… it’s very annoying… I feel like that would be the easiest fix ever, just to move to the upper left hand corner of the screen… why did they decide to make it go across the MIDDLE of the screen?! Did they seriously test this game in split screen or not? It’s just poor coding…
Anyone else deal with this?
There’s no fix. I’m not quite sure what Bungie was thinking when they implemented the lengthier text sequences but it’s incredibly frustrating and hampers gameplay.
how about getting a new tv or monitor with better resolution …
you have to be playing on a low resolution for this to be an issue.

The text extends halfway across the screen, resolution won’t fix that.

it doesn’t for me …
my TVs resolution is 1920 x 1080 and i’ve never had this issue …
I run a full 1080 setup (37" isn’t huge, but good size) and the text is HORRIBLE!!! IT’s also the SAME COLOR as the reticule, stupid!
I don’t care about who died, got stuck, which punk is on a spree, etc. That’s what the post-carnage report is for.
All text except for my HUD should be removed… heartily agree.
