I’m a big Halo fan since the beginning and I really like Halo Infinite so far. However, I have a problem that probably affects several players, which only seems solvable with a workaround atm. The game does not save the settings, so I have to adjust everything every time I start the game. After some searching, it seems to be a problem with the settings file path. Since my name contains an ‘ö’ and the file path therefore contains a special character, my guess is that this causes a problem when saving. This is also reported by other players. A workaround now would be to either rename the profile (I would hate to do this on Windows) or create a new profile. I think it’s a shame that this doesn’t seem to work for a triple-A title. Actually, the bug should be able to be fixed with a simple fix as well, at least that’s what I claim with my beginner programming knowledge. It would be nice if this problem can be fixed for me and also other players. Especially if it is about such easy to implement things that a game MUST be able to do.
