Hey guys, been working on a forge map the last couple days. Started working on it again this evening but can now no longer save it, which sucks since I just put in a couple hours of work into it. I get the following message on save:
“SAVE FAILED.” Your map was not saved successfully. Please try again."
Anyone else have this issue or know what could cause it? I have been deleting newly added items slowly and then saving again, but so far no luck…

Anyone from 343 here, hello? I’m about to lose 2 hours of progress on a map.
I’m having the same problem right now. Clearly this is another bug that has not been addressed. I’m not entirely sure what happened to cause it, this is the first time it’s happened to me. I was also forging for approximately 2 hours when this occurred, and am about to lose a big chunk of work.
Check your files and make sure there is a space available. Try giving it a new name and details. I dunno…
Often when my Halo session starts up the game fails to load my local files, so I have to restart my Halo session once or twice before they properly load up. If your local files fail to load then I doubt that you are able to properly save to them. I’ve spent hundreds of hours of forging in H2A and haven’t lost any saved content. Basically if you make sure that your local files have loaded then I think you are not at risk of losing any more progress.
If you are at the 50 map maximum (which is ridiculous), then it will specifically say that you can’t save due to being at the maximum.
