You used to be able to leave if 2 teammates left in team slayer without getting a leaver penalty but now you can’t.

Yep, it’s ridiculous. Not a single word from 343 that either a change to the system was coming, nor if it was even an unintentional one. It don’t surprise me though. It’s been happening for weeks now.

Could have stopped here (though I agree with you). Nothing from 343 about this change, about the “November” Update, about anything at all. Nothing via response tickets, nothing on Twitter.

The leaver ban shouldn’t be in place for social games regardless. The team balance is so atrocious that half the team you get rolled or are steam rolling the enemy team. We shouldn’t be forced to sit through a pummeling in a playlist claimed to be ‘more casual’ (it’s actually just competitive with no rank attached). 343i seem hell-bent on making a game as un-fun as possible. Because that definitely drives sales and maintains a healthy playerbase /s

I completely agree with you on this.

Yesterday I had a tie game for the first time in years. I actually couldn’t believe it, because it’s literally always just like how you described.
