I just fought the Eternal Warden guy and killed all the forerunner soldiers. I’m at the light bridge that I’m supposed to get across but it doesn’t activate. The giant guardian appears but then nothing happens; I appear to be stuck. I’m playing on legendary so I really don’t want to restart the mission to see if that works. Any suggestions?
Me and my friend have a problem with that mission except it crashes his xbox completely and kicks him from the session. We can’t get past this particular part in the mission.
Yea I’ve been stuck and have tried restarting the mission but it crashes on the same part always.
I have the crash on mission two, right after Halsey comes to speak to the captain. Mission checkpoint loads over and over. I have cleared the game cache, reloaded three times (four if you count the 1st time), reloaded Halo Waypoint twice too because it was the middle man for the Halo Master Chief Terminals. What a bad in-game idea, pulled from the game to Halo Waypoint. Anyway back to Halo 5 issue. Game was loaded on SSD External. No problems with any other games, just this one. This is a bummer. I know it is not the Mission 7, but all the same symptoms occur, cut scene buffers too slow, game glitches, black screen, back at dashboard. When I activate back to the last checkpoint to fight all over, make it to the ship platform, cut scene, go for Cortana, see the infinity, see Halsey, load buffer, black screen. The second reload got me from it crashing to the main screen before we see the Infinity looking ship, then it has not made any difference after that so far.

I know this post is a few months old. But I had the same problem. And I found an enemy chilling on the cliff side where the Guardian appears. I only found him because he talked every minute or so. I killed him and the bridge actvated. I hope I help somebody.
