I’m trying to post a comment to the Friday Caption 54 page - the page loads OK but I get an error when I submit the comment:

no-one else has posted since 06/06/12 04/06/12 (darned US date format) so is it just me or is there a general problem with posting comments to this page?
Comments still broken. Seems to apply to any page I try. Just get ‘Saving the comment’ and the animation, but never completes.
For reference, comment for Caption 54 is “Mummeeee! Johnny’s pulling my pigtails AGAIN!!”
Comments still still broken since 4th June.
Found a thread with similar discussion here which suggests restarting the blog engine to reset the js handler (doing a no-cache refresh [ctl-F5] didn’t work for me)
The frustrating thing about this is not seeing any official acknowledgement that there’s a problem (apart from a lone webadmin post) - any chance of a post-mortem post once it’s all fixed?

I was out of town for the past week and a half, so communication has been lacking. Apologies for that. As far as blog comments go, we’re hoping to have them up and going again within the next few days. Thanks for letting us know about the issue.
