i have been trying to play halo 5 MP for the past 15 hours, when ever i try to start matchmaking i get a “cant find a server for one of your fireteam members”.
i tried power cycling the console but nothing worked, and if anyone else has this problem and knows how to fix it please help

I had this problem one week ago and I restarted the xbox one, it worked. Now this trick doesn’t solve the problem…
I haven’t been able to play for the past two days because of this problem. Can’t find a fix online and 343i doesn’t seem to care. FRUSTRATING.
It’s pretty much the same for me here aswell in France.
I had no problem since launch, and was pretty impressed to find match so quickly and never seeing lag. Everything was working incredibly well.
Now, since the February Season started, it’s worse and worse every days. Searching alone, I managed to find enough games on the first day to finish my 10 matches, but with pretty much the same players and it was taking a while before finding them. Today I don’t find any, I even got a message saying something like “We couldn’t find a match for you, maybe there isn’t enough players in this playlist. Please try another”. I tried both Arena and Warzone, Social and Ranked playlists. I don’t find any player, not even one.
I tried restarting the console and hard reset it. Nothing. I have a good connection and I don’t have issues on multiplayer games.
For the last few days, I played Warzone without “too much trouble” by joining a Fireteam (mostly American people) but still, the searching time were far longer than before the February Season’s start and we saw lag. I never saw so much lag before this season. In the past, the only lag I saw was a single player teleporting and lagging in a game, but it was always a single person. I don’t know what’s going on and what changed with this season, but I can’t play multiplayer, and it’s starting to get really annoying. Everything was working so well since launch day back in October. Why those changes? Why changing things that were working so well?

I don’t think you have the same problem as the OP but it sounds like you have the same problem as me.
Do you play late nights? After midnight?
It works fine for me until around 12-1am and then I can’t get a game. Only started since the new season.
If it isn’t fixed soon I will be selling the game. I only really play late nights so if I can’t play then I may aswell trade it in.

I think you’re right. I was playing during the night and mornings these past few days. Yesterday I tried in the morning, again without luck.
Last evening I just played a few hours without any problem in Arena (Slayer Playlist) from about 7 p.m to 9 p.m I think (France time). Maybe it’s an issue on the servers during night and morning in Europe. It’s still an issue if we can’t play whenever we want, especially while I never had any problem before the start of the February Season.
I can`t play MP at all really because I get booted from my game almost every time >:I
Similar issue here in the UK. Since the last update it either takes forever to find a match or eventually times out 10 minutes later saying it can’t find players. It would be nice to be able to get back in to the game and play more than a handful of games a day. Hope this fix this as soon as possible
