I can no longer play Matchmaking simply becasue I am always paired up with awful players, with no regard for teamplay or are just simply awful in skill, please bring back a better true skill system

Some people either have no friends or have friends but can’t play with them due to heaps of factors like:
They don’t play or own the game.
Different time zones,
Or they play but they play at a different time.
Plus a number of other reasons.
So I see the op’s point into regards to true skill, it will match him up with equally skilled players and make him
A happy camper as he is enjoying the game playing with equally skilled gamers and maybe make some like minded friends that play at the same time along the way.
Get better. If you’re so good, join a gamebattles team. If you’re not into competitive play like gamebattles, then play with friends.

I don’t think a ranking system like that of h2 and h3 would solve this. I remember going into games back in those days and getting paired with people who either weren’t good or maybe we all didn’t gel right. If you really need players to play with join a clan. There are plenty recruiting in the classfields. You can join casual players, competitive players, custom game players, etc etc.

How’s it going? Name is zac and I’m looking to fill up my friends list with H4 players. I consider myself a pretty decent player. I really want friends who like to call out enemies and that are teamwork oriented. ( none of those “I almost went pro in H3” kind of people ) I enjoy playing BTB, KOTH, OB, SWAT, and when I have 3 friends with me regular slayer. I like for my team to be rowdy but respectful at the same time. There’s no need to drag anyone’s mother into the trash talk. Ah I miss the good ol’ days of the actual Clans that were implemented into Halo 2, it actually made you feel as if you were part of a clan fighting for your Clan’s honor when a bunch of you go on and played against other Clans. That is one thing I do miss from back in the day; met a lot of cool people and players on there during that time on Halo 2. Unfortunately now, even with the created Clans, it wouldn’t feel the same since there isn’t any “official” clan matches or clan specific playlists to rank a Clan.
But maybe just maybe in the future something like that can be implemented again; not sure why it went off to the wayside in the first place.
