Did you check in the Microsoft Store app - my library (or search in the store) Halo Wars 1: DE, and see if you can download it?

I purchased it on Xbox one and I still cannot play either. I tried speaking to Xbox support but they just said they would get back with me and never did . In the store it says it is installed on my Xbox as DLC but I can’t find a place to play it.
I’ve spoken with Xbox support and the guy said that it’s scheduled for release on the 22nd. So perhaps we just need to wait for the 22nd when everyone gets it for it to be available to download.
I can wait if that’s the case, but I don’t like how I need to find that info out from support. Surely this should have been clearly communicated on the store page as well as all over the forums and in the FAQ area.
I have the same problem as the two posters above and got the same answer from Xbox Support. It’s kind of BS because I wanted to play HW:DE early, and I thought I paid for the privilege, but it seems MS still can’t figure out this online business.
I got the same problem and i am from the netherlands. I have downloaded the halo wars DE but i can not find it anywhere on my xbox one console. I am gonna wait also and if i don’t get it i will call them and they must give it either way.
This is stupid, if i had preordered a month ago I would have been fine but now i can’t play on PC or Xbox this is garbage!
Same here. Im pissed that ive never got a code. Says i own it but i cant play it.
You have to wait and they will send you a code it takes like 4 to 5 days, it looks like.
How do you know that we must wait 5 days?
I bought the game on the 16th and got the Code today so 6 days
Bought mine on the19th, still no code. Called support twice and they had me perform a factory reset on my Xbox before being told I’ll get a code “eventually.”

The update to remove the early access label should now be live, I imagine that negates the need to wait for a token so anyone with the game should now be able to play:

I bought mine on the 16th and cannot play on the Xbox One nor the PC. The Microsoft store reports I own this product but there is no way to download it. 3 Calls to “Customer Service” have resulted in a factory reset of my console, wasted time and frustration. Only receiving condescension from Microsoft. I spent $85 and have received half of my purchase. If you paid for a pizza and got 1/2 of it with the promise you’d get the rest eventually, we’d be furious. Will never EVER do a digital preorder like this from Microsoft ever.
When I came home from work today my code arrived via Xbox Message. This took 7 1/2 days to arrive. Glad to have it finally.
So haha get this. I still have a 360 and i still have halo wars one and have had halo wars since 2009 when i went to GameStop on its release day. One of my old friends stole my copy so i bought a digital download. And ever since the garbage of halo wars two was released, i haven’t been able to play my digital downloaded game. Yes i contacted support butt at the same time they never cease to amuse me with their bs well get back to you mumbo-jumbo. ive been a halo fan since day one. Butt -Yoink!- do these companies suck now.
