Ok, so for the past week and a half, I have been unable to enjoy playing campaign, multiplayer, and Spartan ops. Whenever I try to load my campaign or Spartan ops, it tells me that it failed to load, and that players may be missing content data. I have all of the DLC’s. When trying to play multiplayer, if I start a game where I get to vote, it restarts my search as soon as the countdown is completed, and when I get loaded into a game that has already began, it kicks me all the way out to the opening menu. Is there a problem with the servers, or is there something else that I can do to fix this issue, and continue to play with my friends?
If you are having a problem with all 3 main game modes than I would say that it is either a problem with your game discs, or your console itself. Do any other games get affected by this problem? If not, then it is probably not a console problem.
The campaign doesn’t run off a server, so if you are experiencing a load failure with the campaign then its more than likely a problem with your game disc. First I would try deleting and reinstalling the game discs from your xbox hard drive, as well as clearing your system cache. Then try to play the game again once all updates are done. If that doesn’t work, check your disc for any dirt or damage that may cause your game to not load properly.
A second option would be to see if you can borrow a friend’s game and try loading from that. If your friends disc loads ok then it would indicate that your copy of the game is damaged and you would need to replace it.
So, I did what you suggested, but it still didn’t work. However, when I decided to download my game to the hard drive, it started working again. I don’t know why this is, but it worked.

Hello JOHN GRIMM 182,
Its great to hear that it now works. The reason why it works now, is b/c once you install/download the game onto the HD, it reads the data from the downloaded game, and you’ll notice the disc itself does not spin, making the system read the data off the physical disc. I had the same problem with Halo 4, and once I installed it, it worked like brand new,
