so i downloaded halo mcc and played reach naturally, but i was craving some halo ce and i came to the realization that i could not select anything but reach. so i uninstalled everything and reinstalled everything and still cant play anything but reach. i double checked and i do have all the dlc so i should be able to play the other games correct?
No. The only game out right now on PC is Reach. 343 has stated this before and it’s listed in the store saying the same. The rest of the Halo games will release in order 1-4 starting in 2020.
Lol you could have taken 2 seconds to google that and figured out only reach was released for the time being… also everything has said that they are only releasing games to pc over time and they are releasing them in the proper order, so story heavy players will be able to play each one, one by one in a proper fashion. Anyways to answer your question, all games will be released eventually, but over time. So reach is the only current game that is available on PC. Cheers.

thanks for making this thread! i just beat halo reach and wanted to move on, but couldnt! here i am, doing research, and this thread is the first result when i googled. i had no idea that all of the games werent released. i thought it would unlock in order once i beat reach! i made an account just to let you know this hah. thank you for your due diligence!

See, search only works when there’s info for it to get. From my experience, the more forums like this out there, the easier it is to locate the info. There might have been all sorts of info if he had only just searched, but when I searched, this was the first thing that came up. I saw Reach was the only one I could play, I opened google, asked why and his post was there. Keep asking questions people, these forum posts help a ton (except the smartass replies “Uhhh, google”)
I get where he is coming from I did the same thing. When you see the game in the store it reads like you have all the games right off the bat. They need to change it so that people understand they aren’t getting all 6 games right then. I understand that sometimes you need to do some digging but you really shouldn’t have to
I looked on Steam and it was fairly clear. The very first paragraph states:
