Can't play any multiplayer

My Xbox is connected to the internet and running just fine, when I start Halo 5 I can play the campaign and access my Spartan Hub. When I go into the arena or warzone it gives me an error stating “could not find a server that was suitable for all members of your fireteam”, this would be just fine if I were in a fireteam, IM PLAYING ALONE. No other players in a party on the game or otherwise, just me and my console. Someone please help, I’ve only played online a handful of times.

you’re not the only one with this problem. Been playing since the update came out, but as of today I can’t connect to any server. Really upset right now.

Try clearing the Xbox’s alternate MAC address. this has worked 100% of the time for me.

i tried what you suggested, but it didn’t work for me.

Can play custom games fine, but Warzones and Arena, after about say, 7-8 mins or so, disconnects me. Only this game it happens, no other game, so I know it’s not my internet. I’d love to see a poll put up on how many people are having issues versus how many are just fine, if it’s so common.

Console reset fixed it for me. Good luck!

Multiplayer-specific error messages
You may see one of the following messages when you’re trying to join or set up a multiplayer session.

  • Attention. Could not find a server that was suitable for all members of your fireteam. This error means that no dedicated servers could be found that meet the network requirements of your entire fireteam. This may occur if you play with geographically dispersed friends. If you encounter this error while playing with friends in the same region, restart the game and try again.

This is their advise for the problem. But same as you I am playing alone and have tried numerous solutions to no avail. Other solutions that have worked for other people are switching to wireless and opening up ports but neither has worked for me as my nat is open and wireless is no use.

I hope they address this for individual users who are playing solo in multiplayer but also their excuse of being geographically divided is the entire point of xbox live is to play with friends who are not always next door.

343 please give a legitimate response to this just say your are working on an adequate solution and explain why it happens to solo players.

I’m having the exact same issue. I spent about an hour on the phone with Xbox support. They took me through the same steps listed above (hard reset, clear MAC address). Nothing was able to resolve the problem. Their advice was to post on the forum asking for help. I understand that issues like these come up, but I think its ridiculous to not have a way to contact support for a game this large other than posting in the forums and hoping the developers become aware of the problem.
