I recently had a horrible experience where a person intentionally played extremely loud and ear-damaging sounds through their microphone. It was probably a soundboard or something bizarre. I immediately had to take off my headset and press tab to try to mute them yet there was nothing I could do besides muting everyone.
It’s extremely disappointing that I can’t mute someone and have to choose whether to have no mics whatsoever or have to deal with players screaming or hot mic-ing.
I really do wonder at how the game has been released without such fundamental QoL things being included.
Glad to see this topic because it’s troubling me in ranked as well. Often run into games where one players is pumping hard music and game sound so we all mute everyone…
Best way to fix this, but it takes time, is to search their Gtag and mute them.
Search their tag directly and Mute them, in game options don’t seem to be working. I’ve ran into people yelling obscenities couple times already, and it gets tiresome
