I can’t load into the mission Long Night of Solace on the PC version of Reach. I tried verifying my local game files on steam twice and I uninstalled and re-installed the game and I still can’t load in, it just returns me back to the campaign menu.
Same here.Have verified files many times. Have deleted local files and reinstalled.No good. Driving me mad.

You are playing a playlist?
If is so i restarded the playlist and when i reached that mission it loaded correctly.
I don’t know if there is other fix for it.
After replaying the whole thing right up to Long Night of Solace and then getting stuck in exactly the same way I went to missions and picked it up from there.Worked for me!

If this is a mid-mission checkpoint from before the Season 6 update, I’m afraid that they get lose during the update - happens with all large updates (and was announced in advance). You just need to go to the missions lost and restart whatever mission you were playing on.
If this is a checkpoint from after the update - i.e. you have already loaded up the campaign since the update and it’s no longer letting you resume, I would start a new topic for this problem.
