Main issue: Loading Halo MCC from steam I get to the home page where it wants me to connect my XBL account to my steam purchased MCC. However, I cannot click anything. Is there a fix?
Also here’s a short and sweet version of the horror story I’ve been having with my favorite video game franchise.

When I contacted the halo team they essentially said, “sorry its not their problem and its a microsoft/ xbox beta/ windows store issue.”. To which I interpreted as dodging the issue specifically happening with this game, and no others. But lets push that aside for now.
I can not download halo through the xbox beta app, or windows store. I simply keep getting the errors I explained in my last post. I’ve tried at least a dozen trouble shooting methods and I’ve even considered wiping my computer clean to start again. However that makes no sense since other games work just fine. Call me crazy but I believe this is a HALO specific issue.
I have now purchased Halo MCC on steam at full price because, I desperately want to experience Halo 2 on my fancy PC in all its glory. Only now I get to the home page where it says “lets get you signed in”. Only I cant click anything. I tried mouse and keyboard and controller. I tried using them in alternate orders. Nothing. So I finally get the game installed I cannot even sign in now. Whats next?
All I’m looking for at this point is a fix to sign into steam. I give up with the windows store and the xbox beta app and to game pass. I waited until midnight to play halo 2 on pc, and now I’ve been wrestling with this game for the chance for over a month.
Someone please help me finish this fight.
