I never received my code and am unable to reply to the official topic. I just reached level 70 and now am unable to move on. I was unaware of this being an issue until I reached level 70 yesterday

Welcome to the club. I hit level 70 today and may never play this game again. It’s my opinion that 343 missed a huge opportunity (possibly a fatal one?) to gain more revenue from those us who didn’t play before November 20th or purchase the LE version of the game. In my case, I managed to buy the Halo4 XBox after November 20th with the STANDARD edition of the game included - COLOR ME HAPLESS.
It would have been a simple matter (and a smart business move) for 343 to offer a means of purchasing specialization codes for those of us who were unaware of the limitations of the standard edition (THERE’S STILL TIME TO RESCUE IT, 343 - HINT). Some of us gamers have lives outside of cyberspace and don’t follow every detail of an upcoming release.
343’s misstep here may very well spell doom for Halo 4 (and Halo?), since word of mouth (and word of mouse) is (are) instantaneous these days. I was wondering why the game population numbers had been dwindling recently prior to my own experience. Now I know.
I also need help with this issue. Im very pissed off. Ive played every halo game for years and spent alot of money on all things Halo and this is how im repaid? I own every game even a limited edition Halo 2 (which wasnt worth it). Even though i already own Halo 4 Im willing to buy the limited edition halo 4 but the guy at the store says i wont get past level 70 even with that

Seriously thinking about selling this game if the Specs. are not released by the end of January. Sorry, game is awesome but reaching max level in just a month is a deal breaker.

Sorry to hear you guys haven’t received your specialization codes! Unfortunately, there’s nothing you can do besides wait for them to be unlocked for everyone.
Specialization codes have already been distributed. For more information on the distribution process, check this post. 343i is currently aiming to unlock all specializations for everyone in early 2013.
