Cant launch - Missing Files - MCC PC

Games Halo: The Master Chief Collection

Installed through Steam and when trying to run i see the Easy Anti Cheat pop up loading followed by 4 errors saying im missing files:

CONCRT140.dll
MSVCP140.dll
CONCRT140.dll
VCRUNTIME140.dll

They come in seperate windows in that order with the comment that ReInstalling could fix it. After 4 times ReInstalling, it doesnt and these 4 keep coming back.

Please help as this is driving me crazy.

Edit: ReInstalled another 2 times. Both with full restart of PC but did not change anything. Also launching through Xbox Companion App or as Administrator made no difference.

Windows 10, fully Up to Date. Drivers etc are too.

Same issue here. Windows 10 fully updated, latest nvidia drivers.

Yup. Same exact ones.

Anyone any luck with a fix yet?

Same issue. I have tried reinstalling 2x, already updated everything from drivers to windows to steam. Haven’t found a fix yet.

Same issue here, have updated drivers, reinstalled, and checked visual c, still no luck.

I’ve found a fix! Open control panel>programs>programs then right click your most recent visual c+ (mine was 2017) and click change. Once it opens click repair and let it finish, do this for x64 and x86. Soon as i did that i could boot the game up easy. Good luck and see you on the battlefield Spartans!

Same here. Downloading both the x64 and the x86 worked for me

GUYSI KNEW HOW TO FIX IT, GO TO %APPDATA%/LocalLow/MCC and delete everything thats inside, that should fix the game or that did to me

I had the problem where after u try to start a game or match got the missing files error

This also fixed my issue, thank you!

After going to this website I clinked on the link for x64 (64-bit architecture) “vc_redist.x64.exe”. There is also a link for x86 (32-bit) right above the x64 link, in case anyone does not know the difference. You can generally find which architecture your machine is by going to (in Windows 10) Contol panel > System and Security > System > System Type.

I’m having the same problem but with just the CONCRT140.dll file. I am also on windows 10 and fully up to date and have tried reinstalled twice through steam.
