Can't join my buddy.

Cannot join a buddy it says problem with halo 5 guardians server I have two Xboxs and both are saying the same issue. We can both join one buddy but not eachother… Was working fine until we tried today. Have been playing together since release please help. Also move me if posting in wrong forum

having the same problem, 2 american friends arent receiving invites at all and cant join my lobby and i cant join theres… something is wrong

same problem here me and my girl friend have 2 xbox in the same house and we are not receiving eachother invites apparently no one is receiving our invites either no one can join on us and we cant join on them.

Would be nice to hear something solid from 343i or microsoft. But thats asking too much I guess

I had connection issues for the first time last night. It does feel like something is up.

This might be super weird but correct me if I’m totally wrong:

I heard from AngryJoe that you cannot share the same router for this game :confused:

I don’t know, I might be wrong but weird.

Anyway’s, try these solutions:

  • Restart you’re broadband and then try connecting to the fire team - Restart you’re Xbox and tryIf none of them are working, then it’s most likely to be the 343I’s server side.

dam dude chill there not going to say anything if they themselves haven’t figured out the problem. this just started happening all good release and the game has played great since release so… chill and wait I’m sure it will be fixed by today

also I have the new windows 10 look for the xbox one and it has problems still now and then I don’t think it has anything to do with that just 343’s server side

You can play on the same router had an 8 person lan Friday and it works. Trust me.

I’ve had the update for a few weeks now with the preview. This only started tonight. Was playing Halo 5 fine until I logged off for a bit then came back on. Won’t start the game anymore. Can open all other games, so it’s only Halo 5 problem.
