Anyone else having problems joining games with friends? I accept invites and nothing happens and when I invite my friends it will let maybe one person join and then kicks them a few seconds after they finally get in my game. I’ve spent more time trying to get in games or get friends in my game than actually getting to play the game… Hopefully this is resolved soon because this game is the only reason i want to keep playing xbox.
Yes all the time. really all i try to do is close halo and my friends do the same. sometimes it works.
I have the same problem. I tried joining custom games after matchmaking wouldn’t put me into a game and I couldn’t even get into a custom game
this is my only complain that i hope 343 will soon address.
There a couple of issues here. If you join a friend’s invite while searching for a game in matchmaking it will think that you are in their lobby even though you are not. You will see the option to kick each other even though it does nothing. This can only be fixed by either starting your own custom game and then leaving, or by closing halo and relaunching it. The other problem that happens is not seeing friends on the roster and attempting to join their game via Xbox invite. This can result in a similar issue. So basically, hope that you can see them on your roster, or gamble joining via an Xbox invite.
Okay and yes i have tried the quitting/relaunching thing and that seems to work best but still doesn’t work very well and maybe this will be included in the next update. Hopefully it is because it is very frustrating.
