Can't Install Halo Reach or Halo CE on PC

I downloaded Halo MCC from the Microsoft store with game pass, and when I opened it up, I tried to play both Reach and CE and it would open a popup offering to download the games, but then it would give me an error. When I go to the Microsoft store the only option to download a game is Halo CE Anniversary and there’s no option to download it.

So this may or may not be a fix for at least halo reach but it worked for me. But only for Reach. If you open the game and go to Options then Settings, click on “Change Installed Games” and deselect Halo Reach. Accept your selection and back out of the game. Go back to your Xbox app on your pc and filter your games by “Needs Attention.” It showed me Halo Reach and allowed me to download a 10mb file. When i reopened the game and went back to the custom installation in the settings, i was able to download Halo Reach. I tried the same thing Halo: CE and it didnt work.

So I uninstalled Halo Reach from the “Change Installed Games” menu, and I went to the Xbox App. I chose the filter “Needs Attention” and it said “No games need attention”. So, I went back into the game, and now it won’t let me reinstall Reach from the “Change Installed Games” menu either, so now I just can’t install it.

I’m having the same problem. I downloaded it through the xbox beta app.

Just fixed mine by doing this. Go to the Microsoft store app on your pc. Go to the downloads section by hitting the three dots at the top right of the app. The two needed files should be waiting in your queue. I had already installed the games via the xbox beta app on PC. So if you install there first hit the microsoft store to confirm the licenses. Enjoy yall :slight_smile: :alien: :alien: :alien: :alien: :alien: :alien:

I have Halo: Reach, and Halo, 1 and 2. But I can’t seem to get Halo 3 or 4… Could someone help me out with this?

Halo 3 and 4 aren’t released for the PC version of MCC yet, however the Halo 3 PC beta flight just ended so I’m hoping it’ll be officially released for PC by the end of this month or sometime next month and the update for the Xbox version will be out soon.
