Cant go back to the game after going to desktop

Hi
When I play the game, go “back” to the desktop (game paused, still running) the icon in the taskbar disappears and I cant reopen the game.
Clicking on the game icon on my desktop will try to start the game where the message “game still running” appears. So the game doesnt close/ keeps running but I cant reopen it.
Is there a way to maybe switch back or fix this issue? (for example /rungame So far I had to restart my PC everytime.This is the only game this happens.
