As I am sure we are all aware, the Halo 2 live service has been cut, and as i am sure we are also all aware, the original xbox 360s broke a lot. Mine broke and I have gotten a new slim, but I can no longer access the map packs for halo 2 that I had downloaded because they were saved to the actual xbox and and were not downloaded via the xbox marketplace.
This is a very large problem, because me and my friends still frequently enjoy have system link parties on the old halo games and the maps on the map packs are some of our favourites.
If it is possible, it be greatly appreciated if these could be made available for download on the xbox marketplace, or in some other way, that these could be made available to all of the halo fans out there who are experiencing the same problem. It would be a shame if these maps were lost from us forever.

It just doesn’t come with Tombstone and Desolation.
It seems kind of ridiculous that I should have to pay for these again, on top of already having bought an entirely new xbox just because microsoft doesn’t put enough thought into their products
yeah i was in the same boat and it sucks but it’s worth it if you do indeed play a lot
was just playing on some of the new maps on xbc so good

You can get all the maps for fairly cheap and install all the maps really quickly with the disk onto all of your friends xboxs. 10-12 dollars isn’t bad for hours and hours of fun for you and your friends now is it? It’s not like it’s costing you a fortune. If you had 4 other friends that wanted to help pitch in it’s like $2 a piece for all the maps. I already have the disk and if I had extra money I would buy another one just in case something happened to mine that’s how valuable the map pack disk is to me.
What about the Blastacular Map Pack?
This DLC thing is really making me angry as a consumer!
Pretty much the multiplayer map pack disc is your only solution. On the other hand, why didn’t you redownload these maps back in April 2010 nearing the shutdown date?
Oh, I only recently purchased Halo 2 and I’ve got the map packs on disc. I just wanted to get those that aren’t in said disc, for collection.

because my xbox wasn’t broken, and I had them on my old xbox already.
