Did you input your war games pass code that came with your LE?
If so go to the main Halo 4 screen and look where it says Marketplace, click on that and it should show Majestic, then just click confirm download.
ive downloaded the code that gives me specializations skins emblem and map pk, still no luck in trying to download the map pack for free
When you load up Halo 4, you should see a gold star next to the “Xbox Live Marketplace” tab on the Halo 4 main menu. Clicking on that should automatically prompt you to download the DLC at no additional cost.

As I said, go to the marketplace option In game, it should show Majestic and then you can download it from there.
Don’t get it from the regular marketplace tho or they will charge you the 800 Msp you have to do it from the in game market place.
The gold star was there earlier but seems to have disappeared and it takes me to a list of all downloadable content for halo 4

Then maybe you downloaded the maps, try going to your Xbox dashboard and then look under account management > download history.
and see if you did download them if so just re download them and boot H4 up.

No it should say Majestic Map Pack if it is not there then try again to get it through the in game menu, If it still does not work then contact Microsoft Support line.
I would also recommend using twitter to ask 343I about the issue.
True ANSWER READ THIS!!
Go to custom games, go to the select map option and click, and beside the new maps should be a “arrow pointing down” emblem…
Click on any of the maps and you will be prompted to download the map pack
