Is any one else having trouble getting games in Australia
Yes. Many people are. I haven’t found an arena game (other than grifball) in over a week. In the community update, they said they were working on Matchmaking options. Hopefully this region selection.
I live in Australia me and my friends don’t have much difficulty finding games but there are those times when nothing happens
Region lock still in australia. I’m west australia and all i can play is regular warzone and this week’s firefights. I have been trying non stop to find a warzone assault match. Just no luck finding games what so ever
Yeah i constantly have trouble finding matches, especially in the mornings and i won’t have matches until 5pm onward but on weekends im relativity fine with finding them.

I can only ever play warzone, arena and slayer can never find anything else
I live in NZ can’t find any games.
But when in a fireteam with ppl from other regions, it would allow you to find a game easier ?

Yeah we need it off. Can’t find any games. Not worth $150 if i can only play 1 playlist. A game where i can play all playlists is better than nothing so I want region lock off, most of australia does by the looks of it.
Im in EU, I can found games. Just wont play because is a lagfest.
I’m pretty sure Australia has one of the smallest Halo populations, even during Reach in peak hours there were only about 10,000 online through all playlists. Considering Halo 5 has sold less than Reach, and the tonnes of players have stopped playing it globally, I’d argue the Aus population for Halo 5 to be even less than Reach’s 10,000.
Yeh you’re in Diamond, and once you reach diamond in Aus these days the games get pretty slow, which is one reason you’ll see so many smurf accounts. Its amazing that 343 had an entire thread about slow matchmaking, and so many aussies answered the questions, and yet they only changed something for EU, no communication to AUS games about their experiences at all. I’m guessing our population is so low that they basically don’t care. They could at least give us some feedback on mathcmaking times and the options that there are available.

same here. Most of the time i can find a game easy but on certain days for some reason I can’t find a single game.
Note: I never find games in FFA, WA and most of the time BTB no matter what time or day it is.
What’s more messed up is all of us Australians that can’t find a game, can’t even find a game together.
Did all you Aussies have this problem from the get go? I know having region lock removed sounds good… But I would be careful what you wish for there. It may turn into a nightmare far beyond belief. What I don’t understand is why some of you on here aren’t even matching up! That’s even more strange to me. But on a more positive side it sounds like there maybe a fix coming in May. But its hard to say what it is really. 343 mentioned something in the community update. But it was fairly vague to what it will be. But hopefully it will be something on the lines of sever selector. At least that would give you the option yourself to decide where you want to play. Im a US player and I can tell you that region lock being off has made the game play very poor. That’s what I have experienced. Lets hope they will have an update to fix this for all of us…

Here’s hoping they do have an update to fix all this. I mean i know that lifting region lock might cause lag. It didn’t in halo 4 or reach but I guess i have high speed Internet but thats beside the point. Yeah some probably most people will have a few latency issues. But it’s gotta be better than not being able to play at all. I dont know. Your right i hope they fix all of this. And yeah we’ve had this problem since halo 5 launch.

I honestly didn’t know you guys had this problem from launch of the game…Sorry to here that. I really feel bad for you guys…that’s horrible :-/ Even though im from the US Aussie is like a second home to me. Im there every year. Lets hope May brings better luck for you all and an update we need!
